Leaving Guatemala

From Samuc Sampey, where the nature and hostel are more than great, my journey went to the last part of Guatemala. Guatemala City. I arrived saterday night at Martins friend where 2 hours later I wasn't so happy anymore, instead laying on my bed having a food poising come over me. 30 days in Guatemala, I eat on the street, never wash my hands, swim in filty waters, but a "modern" pizza gave me food poisen. Luckely the next day I recovered quick and that night Martin and I were having icecream in the Mac Donalds again. What would we do without soft ice cream?

On flying day Martin took me to the airport. I checked in and waited for an arriving airplane. And waited. And waited. An annoucement was made: the airplace delayed so I would miss my connecting flight in Costa Rica. Yeah Costa Rica, my flight was supposed to go to Costa Rica, next Lima and finaly Sao Paulo. If I wanted to stay one more night in Guatemala City? Or wait in Costa Rica for one day? That sounded fair to me, they pay for my stay in Costa Rica. Instead I took the flight with American Airlines to Miami connecting through to Sao Paulo. The next morning at 7am I arrived in Sao Paulo.

I hope Brazil welcomes me...
