First photo shoot "Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super"

The last 3 weeks I have been playing around with the camera I posted about. Last week I finally got the change to get the photos developed, and today I picked up the photos.

Well don't expect to much. First of all we didn't visit the most utterly cool places in the world. Just some old buildings in the neighborhood I knew about. Second, please remember this is a very old camera. 1962 wasn't a computer year yet and thus no automatic options whatsoever. Conclusion: hard camera for a rookie (read: the result suck). Although I can hide behind the fact the camera is probably broken. Every photo has way too much red in the pictures, resulting in OLD looking photos.

So what did we visit?

Stop 1 was the old fireworks. Since they build a new one, this one is getting demolished, but it's still waiting for that to happen. In the meantime we can take some pictures.

Stop 2 was the "deserted" old concrete factory. Working cranes! I even tried how I could handle myself as a crane driver, and so far so good. We went up a high crane, but not much to see there.

Last Saturday we visited the last of the 3. We didn't even knew it, we just run into it. Bad thing is, my film ripped apart by getting it out of the camera, so I do not have ANY photos of the coolest stop yet.

When I get the photos from my photo-buddy I will post those.

Too bad the film ripped at the chemical plant. Sure was a nice location! We need to go back there sometime preferably with a fancy D-SLR's round our neck :). I haven't got many pics of the plant but a few turned out ok. I hate scanning though..
