YouTube
Today I signed up on YouTube. After watching some movies from something called a channel (a user created "site" for their own movies), I even subscribed to some of them. It's just cool to know that the internet opens doors for people which normally would have no chance. Now you can create a movie, upload it, and if it's nice, get popular.
That is the up-side of the whole YouTube thing. The down-side is all the idiots in the world can stuff the internet full of nonsense. I like original, funny, short and cool material. But since making a real effort of creating something isn't necessary anymore (YouTube doesn't check on coolness), you really need to split the bad from the good.
Clicking the "most popular" link seems the most easy thing to do. But since most people are dumbasses, and those dumbasses subscribe to those dumb videos (and channels), that's not a solution.
So I will try to put you on the right way, by giving these links to channels I enjoyed:
