Ambitious, fishes and dishes

North of Phuket, a small hour only, and one enters the town of Koa Lak. Not much to do here, some shops, a mac donalds, couple of guest houses. It consists of a split 4 lane road, buildings on the left and right hand side of that one road and one beach. So why stop at this boring town?

Because this is where you take a boat. A live aboard boat to be more precisely. Normally, where one has to get on a boat, go to the destination, dive, get back on the boat, to shore and guest house, and repeat this process every time, loosing valuable time, traveling between dock and dive site. On this boat you live for 4 days and 4 nights, one sleeps, eats, showers on and dives from the boat who sails the waters of the west coast of Thailand. You sleep while the boat gets you to the next site. Beautiful concept and it worked out very well.

Years of experience surrounded me. 5 thousand dives, 10 thousand dives, instructors and dive masters. And I had 16. But it didn't make it less interesting for me. Turtles, millions of fishes, wrecks, it is very nice under the surface of the waters. Truly a hidden world.
