Lost kingdoms and capitals

The local bus to Ayutthaya was a bit old, a bump ride awaited us. Most backpackers can't be bothered and take a minivan. Air-conditioned, quiet, much faster, but also double the price. I guess the local bus is just more of an experience.

Ayutthaya was the capital of Siam (Thailand before they changed the name) up to 1767, when the Burmese (now Myanmar) invaded. Now mostly ruins, they lay around the modern city. You rent a bike, and start going from sight to sight. A couple of hours, after taking pictures of the very famous 'head-in-the-tree-Buddha', you get tired of yet another destroyed temple or Buddha statue.

If Thailand is full of anything, it's Buddha statues. They're literally everywhere. Restaurants, shops, shopping malls, internet cafes. Both inside and outside, you can find a Buddha statues in the close proximity of you where ever you are. In front of it always some food and water and a couple of fresh flowers, a offering to Buddha. Not that I've ever seen him eat any of it, it's a gesture of generosity, or just the way people are brought up here: a tradition, not to be broken by western thought.

From this old capital (Ayutthaya) to an older one. Dating back to 1200 the ruins of Sukothai are now a park. Not within the city at all, the capital is very quiet, green and not touristy at all. Very different from Ayutthaya. It's older, and more 'ruinish', but gives you a good idea of how old these temples really are. Again, it mostly is temples and Buddha statues.

Chiang Mai and Songkran here we come!

Even experienced essay writers, consequently, cannot manage with different assignments. Thus, how can common students do it? They have no other choice than to turn to writing research papers company.

Come to a writing company. Do not be too shy to buy an Essay Paper. That can make your university life easier.
