The "Sanyo PLV-Z5" project
A friend of mine, wanted to buy a projector for quite some time now. Since he knows as much about projectors as I know about the Polish language, I helped him with some tips. Long story short: DLP projectors pretty much suck (rainbow effect), so he bought a very good Sanyo PLV-Z5 projector.
The colors are (compared to what I saw on the Sanyo Z4, Mitsubishi 1000U and Panasonic PT-AX100E) briljant, and the details are phenomenal. Maybe the lumens are less then the Panasonic, but who needs a room full of light anyway?
Today we setup the last parts, not only video, but now we also have digital audio (5.1 through s/p dif). And the result looks something like this (only better):
